The District was invited to share an aspect of our story for the Spring edition of Play Outdoors Magazine. The featured article is about how time outdoors and in nature is built into the system approach to mental health and wellness. In Cariboo–Chilcotin School District, we are embracing a simple and powerful strategy to support mental health and well-being of students and staff: spending meaningful time outdoors.
